I was on Cyred contraceptive pills and now my pharmacy has given me Cyred EQ, I am wondering if they are the same thing or something different?

Cyred and Cyred EQ are effectively the same medicine.
They both contain 21 tablets of desogestrel 0.15mg with ethinyl estradiol 0.03mg and then 7 inert tablets.
They labeled by the same company, Afaxys Pharma.

The difference is that they are made by different manufacturers.
